Responsibilities:
- Develop item-level and the aggregate forecasts for product planning groups
- Perform analysis of historical selling patterns and leading indicators to predict sales volumes that drive supply chain decisions and influence supply and production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture and react to changes in trends based on current sales and pipeline information
- Present item level forecasts, demand analysis, performance to company financial objectives to senior leadership, providing insight on demand, supply, customer insights, and trends
- Set, balance, and optimize goals for inventory targets, customer service levels, forecast accuracy, and safety stock requirements at the item/SKU level across multiple sites
- Use exception-based analysis and forecast value-add to improve forecast accuracy
- Develop standard reports and leverage use of data visualizations in Power BI to transform tables into easy to digest charts and dashboards for presentation
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or related experience
- 1-3 years of experience in assortment or item level demand planning, forecasting, and/or inventory planning
Qualification:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
- Experience working with ERP, MPR, forecasting, production planning & scheduling software systems preferred (e.g. ForecastX, Microsoft Dynamics D365).
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on analytics
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently with senior-level leaders
- Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners
- Desire and curiosity to learn
